Thursday Boys is an afterschool non-profit organization that meets on Thursdays during the school year to play hard, have fun, learn sportmanship and leadership and community service. 

Everyone is welcome - all ages and from any school or home-school situation. 

Parents, family & friends are encouraged to come out and play with the kids, help serve snacks or be part of the cheering section.

Thursday Boys also encourages the kids to give back to the community with donations and special projects throughout the year.

THURSDAY  BOYS  MISSION  STATEMENT:

    Thursday Boys welcomes every child, regardless of race, sex, religion or socioeconomic background.  It is a place where children can play safely without fear of aggression or torment from others, a place where children find hundreds of instant friends and acceptance, one that speaks of inclusion and a sense of belonging.  It is a place where each child can realize his or her potential and improve athletic, social interaction and leadership skills.

    It is a place that instills discipline and teaches the importance of a group, as well as the individual.  It gives a chance to each child to understand teamwork and to develop loyalty to others.

    THURSDAY BOYS is a place to serve home, school and community with service projects and "hands on" involvement.  It is a place where good attendance, good behavior and a good understanding of the THURSDAY BOYS way is rewarded and recognized.  It is a place where confidence is increased and each child determines his or her own success and goals, where equality exists and second chances are embraced.

    It is a place where song and prayer speak of fairness and cherishing life in a way to show they care.  A place where academics, citizenship and athletics (ACA) are equally honored.  A place where the motto: fun, fellowship, friendship and good sportsmanship is more than just a shirt logo.  A place where differences are welcomed and respect is unconditionally offered.

    A place where love for children takes second place to nothing.  A place that affords the best start possible to the endless potential of each child.  A place where worship and choice of religions are welcomed and every individual adds strength to the whole.  A place where families can enjoy their children and be reminded of the best in themselves.

    It is a place that encourages growth and instills self-worth.  A place where lifelong bonds and friendship help frame the foundation for a fulfilling and happy life.  A place where no one ever really dies, embroidered in the tapestry of each child's laughter and well-being.  A place where a small investment leads us to realize we are all "THURSDAY BOYS"!!
