Everyone is Welcome!! The kids love to have the adults come and play and they really love it when they get the big folks "OUT"! This is not just for Dads, everyone in the family and extended family is welcomed. This also provides some extra security.

Although this started out as gift from Mr. Redwine, with his kids now in high school and college, and all four driving or about to be driving, needing cars & car insurance, school expenses, it is now time for us all to contribute to this fun, beneficial and educational program. (have you seen the cost of just one college book or an iPOD?? - wow!!)
Thursday Boys is free to all so that all kids, no matter their financial circumstance, can play. But a donation to cover the cost of snacks, drinks, candy, balls, sportball bags, field paint, promotion caps (red caps, black caps), prizes, birthday cards to kids, postage, picnic, etc would be extremely helpful.
You may prefer a MONETARY DONATION or a DONATION OF THE ITEM NEEDED. (maybe you can get a better deal on an item than we can)

PITCH IN: Anywhere and anytime!! Sometimes we need drinks prepared or papers stapled or extra eyes on the surroundings to protect our precious kiddos!! Everyone welcome!!
BIRTHDAY CARDS
Mr. Redwine likes to send each child a birthday card for many reasons.... This may be the only card/gift the child gets.... Everybody needs someone outside their family who shows they care.... No child can be loved by too many people....
These are handwritten and hand addressed - no print outs!! They usually include a cool coin and confetti!!
PROMOTION CAPS
The kids must purchase the BLUE CAPS, but if they work to be promoted, these RED and BLACK CAPS are given in a special ceremony after snack time and no funds are asked of the family at that time. (see Ceremony on About Us page)
PAINT - BALLS - SPORTBALL BAGS
Paint: Every week the stripe around the field must be painted again. This makes it easy for play and fairness.
Balls: These balls don't last too long. With our extreme heat/cold and rough play, they go flat or pop.
Sportball Bags: These begin to get holes and need replacing on an occasional basis.
SNACKS - DRINKS - CANDY
Every week the kids are provided snacks. These usually consist of:
Cheeseballs
Pretzels
Animal Crackers
Ziplock Bags
Lemonade - giant size (when hot outside)
Hot Chocolate (when cold outside)
Cups
Candy (each child may select 3 pieces) They play hard & follow the rules!!! Sweet Reward!!
For snack time, the kids sit in circles according to grades.
Moms fill the cups with lemonade for snack time & prepare to hand out.
After getting their drinks, the kids line back up for their snack. Here a Red Cap works to hand out the goodies.
